Army simulator used for medical training
Requirements
- Must provide an accurate training experience that replicates the movement, sound and functionality of the real-life aircraft.
- Must enable accurate playback of training exercises for analysis.
Outcomes
- full hydraulic motion simulating take off, landing, level flight, bank left and bank right
- hydraulic rear doors and ramp with switching as per live aircraft
- full three-channel comms compatible with Army flight helmets and switching and port locations as per live aircraft
- sound representing in flight
- cabin, door and exit lighting the same as the real Defence helicopters
- six video cameras able to record and playback training exercises for accurate analysis
- full crew seating in the same alternating location settings with 4-point harnesses
- pilot and co-pilot seating in the cockpit
- electric rescue winch
- colour-rated tie-down points as per live aircraft
- blackout curtains for night simulation
